Who are we..?

Under the auspices of the HISWA [Netherlands Association for the Shipbuilding and Watersports Industries] a large number of reputable hire companies have started working together. These companies guarantee quality and a varied range of hire vessels. They are cooperating so that they can offer sufficient yachts and so that you can plan your sailing holiday with ease without you having to consult lots of different sites. In short, if one us runs out of capacity, there will usually be an alternative.

I have never sailed. Can I still hire a boat?

All the participating companies would be delighted to help you and will take plenty of time to give you sufficient instruction. So there is no need to worry if you do not have any sailing experience. Please indicate this on the availability form so that we can reserve some extra time for you. In a number of cases it is also possible to arrange for a captain or instructor to sail with you. Once you have got the knack you can then sail on under your own steam. If anything goes wrong, help is always close at hand because the boat owner himself, or a nearby colleaque, will be called in to get you on your way as soon as possible.
